Profractional therapy is a quick and comfortable laser procedure used to improve the overall appearance of the skin and can be custom tailored to your skin type and/or skin conditions. Profractional Laser treatment is ideal for treating spots of acne scars, age spots, fine lines and wrinkles by beaming tiny lasers to pinpoint areas on the skin. Only a small percentage of the skin is directly treated at one time and the surrounding untreated skin promotes more rapid recovery. Thus, new collagen is created which makes the skin more resilient and firmer. Profractional Laser can be used on the face and neck as well as the chest and hands. One treatment can achieve excellent results but a series is recommended for best reesults when there is deep scarring involved. This procedureis usually tolerated with topical anesthesia and can atke anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes.

Results after the treatment are skin redness and a sensation of sunburn. The doctor will provide you with a lipid recovery cream that we formulate for more rapid healing.  Complete healing should take no longer than a few days. Results are visualized very quickly but permanent results are best judged 4-6 months after the procedure.
