Miami Co Q 10, Co Q 10 AT JMC Restorative
At JMC Restorative Medicine we provide our patients with detailed information about dietary recommendations. One of our preferred and most popular products is Co Q 10. Co enzyme Q 10 is a naturally occurring compound made in the body and found in every cell in the body as well. There are two types: ubiquinone, the oxidized form and ubiquinol, the reduced form. Miami Vitamin D, Vitamin D and Calcium reduce Skin Cancer Risk
Recently, a number of studies have suggested a link between vitamin D levels and loweerr risk of skin cancers. As well, in that calcium plays a role in the body’s conversion of vitamin D to its biologically active form, a growing body of evidence suggests a preventative role relating to cancer, for the combination of vitamin D and calcium. Studies done at Stanford University Medical School looked at 36,282 postmenopausal females who had previously had basal cell or squamous cell cancers which predispose to the most deadly melanoma. They found that those women that received vitamin D and calcium had a 50% reduction in progression to melanoma compared to placebo. Thus, they concluded that there is a promising role for vitamin D and Calcium in prevention of melanoma. A microlaser peel is a very popular procedure offered at JMC Restorative MedicineIt is a great way to improve skin texture and appearance. A Microlaser Peel removes thin layers of damaged skin to provide a more youthful appearance; it can be administered with great precision of depth and thus, the resulting skin’s appearance is controlled by the practitioner.
